Catch the legendary Pokemon in shiny form!
Pokemon Trainers will be able to get their hands on a shiny Rayquaza for their party/collection in Pokemon Scarlet/Violet. Trainers will have the chance to encounter and capture Shiny Rayquaza with Dragon as its Tera Type in 5-star Tera Raid Battles from Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 4:00 PM PT / 7:00 PM ET to Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 3:59 PM PT / 6:59 PM ET. There will also be mass outbreak events occuring in both games as well. These mass outbreaks will feature Pokemon who turn a black coloring when found shiny. The likes of Fraxure, Carbink, and Cetoddle will be in outbreaks and will have a higher chance of being shiny. Fraxure will appear in the Terarium in the Blueberry Academy, Cetoddle in Paldea, and Carbink in Kitakami from Friday, December 20, 2024, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.
There will also be special Tera Raid Battles that will have Pokemon that perform better in Tera Raid Battles. It's going to be a three part event so train your party and catch some strong Pokemon. Corviknight and Bellibolt will be available from Friday, November 29, 2024, at 00:00 UTC to Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 23:59 UTC. Azumaril and Clodsire will be available from Friday, December 13, 2024, at 00:00 UTC to Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 23:59 UTC. Finally Annihilape and Kingambit will be avalable from Friday, December 13, 2024, at 00:00 UTC to Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 23:59 UTC. This is a good chance to grab some strong Pokemon or Pokemon for your Poke-Dex if you haven't had a chance to get them.
