Once an April fool's prank, now real!
I have always liked the direction INTI CREATES takes with their properties. They have a certain knack to give modern ideas a retro look and feel to them. They also know how to adventise their games so people know about them. It was around April Fool's Day when they came up with a joke game named Divine Dynamo Flamefrit that INTI CREATES wanted people to think was real. Fast-forward to the summer and it turns out, Divine Dynamo Flamefrit was real and being developed all the time. How can you go wrong with a game that looks and feels like classic Legend of Zelda and 90's anime?
Divine Dynamo Flamefrit was originally going to come bundled with retail releases of Card-en-Ciel in Japan but now it sounds like the game will have a full worldwide digital release this Winter. It also has a first-person mode where you fight monsters just like you were piloting a Megazord in Power Rangers. You learn early on not to bet against INTI CREATES and it looks like they will have another fun game on their hands.
