It has been another week and that means another set of downloadable games and content from the Nintendo eShop. This week has a demo version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow- Mirror of Fate available to download and give it a test run. The game takes place 25 years after the first Lords of Shadow and gives you the history of the early Belmont family.

You also find out why it appears that the Belmont family must atone for what their ancestor has done. Play through different character histories and obtain new abilities by leaning them from older, wiser family members. You will fight massive boss battles and the 3D will make these monsters feel like they’re going to jump out of the screen. If the demo can’t tide you over, you won’t have to wait long, the game releases March 5th.

Another featured game on the eShop this week is BIT.TRIP Presents... Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien. The idea of the game is quite simple, just run. There’s more to than just running in this auto-run, side scrolling platformer. There are 5 levels to run through and 125 stages to do the same in. Combine that with 8 playable characters as well as hidden areas and unlockable costumes, Bit Trip Runner 2 sounds like a real winner.
