Is this undead RTS worth the download? Find out in our review!

Gameplay in Brainhov’s Revenge starts off fun and becomes frustrating. RTS games always promise a sense of power over your world that is never delivered and Brainhov’s Revenge is a perfect example of that failed promise. The game begins with you storming a few homes in the area. Once these houses are under your control you begin to advance on the human camp.

You can control an undead legion.

The humans always seem to out number and overpower the creatures. The game seems to promise total control over the undead minions in the game, yet that control is never realized. The gameplay then becomes frustrating. While the controls are well thought out and useful, the limits of control you have over the creatures makes the gameplay infuriating. The story however is good and provides a few laughs here and there.

The game looks great when large amounts of zombies are attacking.

Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov’s Revenge is a good game. It gets most of the RTS elements right while providing an entertaining story. Switching between sets of creatures is frustrating and the multiplayer is severely lacking depth. While this may be a fun game in the beginning, it quickly becomes infuriating, frustrating, and annoying. This game is not worth the download.

Score: 6 / 10
