Is this brawler worth the download? Find out in our review!

The gameplay in Combo Crew is great. There are two fighters, Parker and Gina, aviable from the start of the game. The other two fighters, Dolph and Sammo, can be unlocked through gameplay. The game features only two modes. King of the Tower has you battling waves of enemies to gain access to the top floor and take out The Boss. Combo Crew has you facing a endless wave of enemies. This mode also promotes social gaming. If you cannot defeat a level, you can send it to a friend who has the game. If they can beat it, you get another shot at conquering the level!

Combat is in the name!

The combat in Combo Crew is handled by swiping across a chosen enemy that you want to attack. Enemies will also attack you from behind. Before and enemy attacks, a signal will appear over there head giving you the chance to block it. You can swipe and hold you finger on the scree to provide a powerful attack. Through gameplay, you can unlock new combos for each character. You can then choose what four combos you want to have during gameplay. The combat is always fast and the combo payoffs are amazing.

It's not showing off, if you back it up.

Combo Crew is a great game. From the unique combo style to the nostalgia inducing animations, this game is a true gem. The game is lacking in game modes, which prevents us from giving it a higher review. However, the strides The Game Bakers are making in social gaming have a lot of potential. Also, pulling off combos is great. This game is definitely worth your download!
