Is this unque game worth the download? Find out in our review!

Gameplay in Badland is simple and inviting. The game is a side-scrolling adventure that allows you to take control of a creature in the forest. The first level serves as a tutorial to show you how to navigate through the environment. You play as an inhabitant of the forest that must discover what is going terribly wrong within. Through physic-based gameplay, you must use the creature to explore the forest.

Dusk in this forest is beautiful.

The gameplay is fun but a few of the elements prove problematic. The creature changes sizes throughout the game to transition through the environment and activate the physic-based barriers in the game. This presents a frustrating paradigm during gameplay as the screen often catches up to you and ends the level. This happened a lot during gameplay, but it still provided an enjoyable experience.

Can you discover the mystery of the forest by nightfall?

Badland is a fantastic game. The game oozes uniqueness that can’t be ignored. The game provides and experience from beginning to end. The immersive nature of the environment is enthralling. You will want to spend more time in this forest. While the gameplay proves frustrating at times, it is a minor gripe for an incredible experience. I hope we see more from Frogmind in the future.
