Atlantis Pearls Of The Deep attempts to add to the Atlantis legend but is it worth the download? Find out in our review!

The gameplay during Atlantis Pearls of the Deep is very fun. It takes the best elements of matching games like Bejewled and couples it with an evolving environment that changes with every different level. There are five episodes in the game, with three available at launch and two available in the future via updates. Each episode contains 15 levels. The similar three star rating systems used in games such as Angry Birds is here as well. The stars can be used to purchase in game power ups and additional levels. Completing the optional tasks at the bottom right will help you earn additional stars. Gameplay variances occur like trapped pearls and other things that make can alter gameplay. There are enough gameplay options here to keep you busy for a long time.

The colors are beautiful and the gameplay is fun.

Atlantis Pearls of the Deep is a surprisingly fun experience. The game exudes zen (a zen mode is even included) and has surprisingly addictive gameplay. Although persistence in game advertisements and freemium features are abundant and annoying, it does not ruin the expierence. With future levels coming from updates and included mini games to break up the routine, Atlantis Pearls of the Deep is one adventure that should not be left under the sea.

Score: 8 / 10
