Scantily clad convicts running around. What's not to like?
A lot of the levels are trial and error. What I mean by that is that the first play through of the level, you'll have no idea where the criminals are or what to do. By the second or third play-through of the level, you'll be able to speed through it. That might have been done on purpose because you're trying to go fast to beat the "par time" for the arrest. The game even has new Hyper Drive levels that weren't in the 3DS version with different layouts and music. Wayforward couldn't just rehash the 3DS version; they needed to give the players a reason to buy it.
The game allows for Game-pad only play which is still pretty cool to me. Being able to watch TV and play the game I was just playing. I can be twice as lazy now. Sorry I got off topic there. Anyway, Switch Force looks and sounds good on the Game-pad as well. It might look a little downgraded from the TV but the Game-pad doesn't have the capabilities of your TV. The Music as well as Patty catch phrases add to the game as well. I still find it fun when she says "yummy" when she gathers/eats a floppy disk.
Now with every good game, there are good points as well as some bad points. Mighty Switch Force is no different. Like I said, if you play a level enough times, you will be able to memorize where the criminals are as well as the fastest route through the level. This won't be a problem when you unlock the Hyper Drive levels. Also it feels like the game doesn't give you enough time to complete the par times in a few of the levels. I don't have a problem with this but I do have a problem with the robot partner at times. It takes the robot a few seconds to go to the goal and open itself up. That could be what costs you the par time in the end.
