5th Cell's latest entry in the series is one of the best yet.

Scribblenauts' gameplay keeps all of the charm of previous games intact, and by introducing some new challenges, it'll also put players through their paces, even if they think they've mastered this game from previous releases.
In addition to a story mode that will take some time to get through, 5th Cell has also thrown in a multiplayer mode, where friends can pick up Wii remote and interact with objects made by the main player. It's rather pointless, but novel in a way, and worth trying out if the kids are bored. Still, a deep multiplayer experience it isn't.
5th Cell has made this game look absolutely charming, with its fluid yet flaunting animation (Maxwell waves around like a kid who's been huffing Nesquik) and neat little hand-drawn backdrops. The interaction with some items is hilarious, especially one situation where a doctor calls for relief from helping someone in a hospital bed – and you supply him his own to lie in. The music is soft and hardly noticeable in some parts of the game, but it serves its purpose. There could've been more environmental sound effects, but that's hardly a drawback.
Scribblenauts Unlimited is one of those games that gives you more out of it depending what you put into it. Its creative side is on full display here, and the gameplay works perfectly in conjunction with the Wii U. The multiplayer may be gimmicky, but good for a few laughs if you have some younger ones playing. And the presentation is just about as good as the series gets. When it comes to adding this game to your library, there's no better way to recommend it than spelling "B-U-Y".
