Square Enix tries its hand at a mobile puzzle game but is it worth your brainpower? Find out in our review.

Once you have mastered the basic gameplay mechanics, it is the clock that becomes your greatest foe. The core purpose of Motley Blocks is to connect all the blocks before the time limit comes to an end and the whirlwind spins to a finish. Once you have completed the puzzle, a poorly rendered image is formed. Again, the purpose of this game is not to impress you with stunning visuals but to create furious manic gameplay, and it delivers.

Create images by connecting colored blocks.

Motley Blocks is a fast and furious puzzle game that is highly addicting and very challenging. Racing against the clock is insanely fun. The goal of the game is not to reveal the puzzle, but to enjoy the experience. Playing the game on the iPad makes great use of the touch screen. The game also has a customization mode that allows gamers to create their own puzzles that they can upload online. Motley Blocks is a fun game that deserves space on your home screen.
