Is this sequel worth the canvas it's painted on? Find out in our review.

The graphics of Epic Mickey: The Power of Two are nothing short of adorable. Mickey and Oswald emit a constant shine of vintage beauty that allows them to stand apart from the environment. The supporting characters in Mickey’s latest adventure have a unique beauty all their own and truly bring the game to life. Epic Mickey: The Power of Two focus on lesser-known characters like Hoarse the Horse and Little Pete. Fans of Disney’s major characters like Donald, Daisy, and Goofy should not worry, as they also make appearances in the game’s narrative but they are not the focus.

Relics of Disney's past find a home in Wasteland.

The story of Epic Mickey: The Power of Two is a true delight. Former frenemies turned trusted allies, Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit join together again after the Mad Doctor returns to Wasteland. The Mad Doctor claims to want to help the inhabitants of Wasteland but Oswald and his friends grow weary of his change of heart. Mickey returns in order to repair Wasteland and discover the Mad Doctor’s true motives. The story is not one that is going to keep you up at night, and is serviceable for gamers of all ages. While the story is simple in nature, it is that simplicity that makes the game fun to play.
