Does the new pool game from Cherry Pop and Mastertonic sink the 8 - Ball? Find out in our review.
The pool tables in Pool Nation are obviously the stars of the show and it shows. Each table in the game looks as close to the real thing as possible. The pool balls are also impressive. Each ball has been brushed with a high glossy finish that allows them to standout. You can even see reflections of the environment in the balls as the camera slows down to show you a trick shot. The only thing better than the visuals of this game is the sound.
You can unlock different tables, cues, and balls.
Pool Nation sounds great. The pool balls let out the familiar crack when hit by the cue and the sound you get when potting a ball is absolutely satisfying. Even making the mistake of shooting a ball off the table sounds amazing as it clicks, clanks, and bounces on the floor. Fouling in a game has never sounded so good. The soundtrack is also great and boasts a variety of tracks from up-tempo beats to smooth and melodic melodies that keep you enthralled in the gameplay.
