Does the new pool game from Cherry Pop and Mastertonic sink the 8 - Ball? Find out in our review.

You ever get that feeling of wanting to hit some balls around but you don’t want to deal with drunken patrons or pool sharks?  Well Pool Nation is here to scratch that itch. Pool Nation is the shiny and brilliant new pool game from CherryPop Games and Mastertonic. The game is available now on Xbox Live Arcade but the question is, is it worth the download? Find out in our review.

Pool Nation boasts impressive environments.

Pool Nation is beautiful to look at. The presentation of the game is very well done. At the start of each game, the camera pans around the room, allowing you to truly take in the beauty of the level. From top to bottom, corner to corner, the levels glimmer and shine with a certain gloss finish. The variation in levels does nothing to affect the gameplay, and may become repetitive for some gamers. Many gamers will not care about the environment of the levels as they will be focusing their attention on the pool table. Lucky for us, so did the designers.
