Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 attempts to once again compete with EA Sports' FIFA franchise. Does it succeed?
The graphics are another reason while this game should have been benched. The players’ animations seem to have been used from previous games. While you can tell the difference between key franchise players, others just seem to be generic interpretations of the lesser-known athletes. The turf in the stadiums is flat with no texture. The stadiums themselves also seem a bit hollow, lacking the depth and personality that these historical venues deserve.
The graphics just are not on par with the competition.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 attempts to compete with EA’s FIFA franchise, but it just comes up short. While the simplistic menus and customization are appealing, there is not enough here to compete with the current dominating champion.
