Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 attempts to once again compete with EA Sports' FIFA franchise. Does it succeed?

Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 is their latest iteration into their “Pro Evolution” series. Konami’s attempt to compete with Electronic Arts’ FIFA franchise has been met with little fan fare in the past. While the game boasts an impressive and robust roster of teams from across the world, the presentation, sound, and gameplay hold this game back from being the FIFA rival that it could be. With it’s flaws is this game a goal, or is it strictly out of bounds in the EA dominated sports market? Find out in our review.

P.E.S. keeps the menus simple.

The presentation of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 is simple and straightforward. Once the game begins, you can choose from English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese language selections showing you the worldly scope of the game. The menus are basic and allow you to go straight to the field. Many sports games suffer from a clunky menu system so Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 is a welcomed change.
