Nintendo showcasing Indie developers at GDC.

Nintendo is planning on showcasing some of their up and coming Indie games at this years Game Developers Conference. The games were developed using Unity Pro, an easier method for Indie developers to develop games by allowing the companies to license to develop with Unity for free and not have to concern themselves with “end user-license agreements.Nintendo Network Framework will be shown off as well in a demo starring Mario and Donkey Kong from the Mario VS DK universe.
“We want to demonstrate to developers how easy it is for them to bring their creative ideas to Nintendo systems,” said Steve Singer, vice president of Licensing at Nintendo of America. “Nintendo offers wide-ranging support for indie developers, whether they want to use NWF, Unity or their own proprietary code.”
Several indie games/companies will be at GDC showing off their creations. Companies and games that are scheduled to appear: Armillo by Fuzzy Wuzzy Games, Ballpoint Universe: Infinite by Arachnid Games, Cubemen 2 by Nnooo, Lttle Dew by Ludosity AB, Monkey Pirates by Henchmen Studio, Nihilumbra by BeautiFun Games, Stick It to the Man by Zoink & Ripstone, Teslagrad by Rain Games, and Wooden Sen’SeY by Neko Entertainment.
