The 50th Anniversary celebration of James Bond has resulted in record box office for Skyfall and sales records for the Bond 50 Blu-ray collection.
Debuting just prior to the theatrical premiere of Skyfall, the Bond 50 box set includes an additional space for the Skyfall Blu-ray when it is released in 2013.
Gamers also are able to celebrate the legacy of Bond in Activision’s 007 Legends, which features missions taken from six Bond movies over the years. A free downloadable level of Skyfall is included in the package. Daniel Craig is featured in the game with voice and likeness.
“We’ve put Daniel Craig in the game and it’s allowed us to put him in a contemporary universe so we have access to all kinds of current day technology,” said game and movie Bond scribe Bruce Feirstein. “In terms of updating the films, we’ve kept the story lines pretty much intact. Obviously, a lot of the characters are returning; we’re just lightly modernizing them so they fit within a contemporary setting.”
