Senior producer Caleb Arseneaux talks with us about what to expect from the game later this month.
Are you taking advantage of the Wii U GamePad for gameplay again, where you search for words and such?
Caleb: On the Wii U, the GamePad is the primary form of user input as you drag your objects around, and use the keyboard to create objects in Maxwell’s magic notebook.
What bonus costumes can you unlock in the game?
Caleb: We have around 60 costumes that the player is able to unlock through the course of the game. To unlock these costumes, they have to complete dynamic challenges called Heroic Feats, which gives them reputation, which then is redeemable for costumes, levels and super powers!
Were there any characters you wanted to see in the game that didn't make the cut?
Caleb: All of my favorite characters actually made it in game. My favorite would be Larfleeze, the leader (and only living member) of the Orange Lantern Corps.
Finally, what favorite character did you add to the game that you absolutely love?
Caleb: I really liked learning all about the different colors of Lanterns in the DC Comics Universe. Larfleeze is my favorite, but a runner up would be the Green Lantern named Mogo. Mogo is a planet. An entire living planet!
