Sonic, Dungeons and Dragons and the Giana sisters come to Nintendo this week.

Some of you probably have started school this week so let’s use this Nintendo Download recap to get you through that first week and back into the summer mode that is the weekend. This week is mostly games for the eShop but that doesn’t mean the games don’t hold their own against the others.

Summer Carnival ’92 RECCA is considered by some to be one of the toughest games ever created. This will be the first time the game will be in North America and players who aren’t afraid of a challenge should give this a shot. If you like top-down shooters and tough as hell games, this is for you. Sonic Generations makes its way to the eShop this week. This Sonic game will bring fans of the old-school Sonic games together with fans of the more modern games. Sonic and time travel, is there anything better than that?

Two more eShop downloadable games are available this week. Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara brings together to classic D and D games:  Tower of Doom and Shadow over Mystara. The game has HD graphics, online 4 player co-op, and unlockable extras. The other game is Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams for the Wii U eShop as well. This come has very tight and precise controls as well as the retro platforming that we all know and love. You’ll have to master jumping between areas so you can be quick in each level. Each game will set you back 15 bucks but they look like they’re worth it. Also available this week: Breath of Fire 2, (Wii U V.C.)Spot The Differences: Party!,( Wii U eShop) Boulder Dash-XL 3D,( 3DS eShop) Darts Up 3D,( 3DS eShop) and Jewel Adventure.( Dsiware/3DS eShop) Enjoy the games everyone!
