A new points system across multiple games will allow fans to compete and work their way up to pro status.

Will other MLG: Play Arenas be added to the MLG Pro Points Rankings?  What if the game I play isn’t on the list?

The MLG Pro Points Rankings is currently in beta stage and additional Arenas featured in the MLG: Play system will be added moving forward.

When will the first MLG Pro Points Rankings be released for each Arena?

Each Arena’s MLG Pro Points Rankings will be released every two weeks with Ladder rankings pulled on the morning of the release day.  The initial schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, August 13th                                   NA Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (Xbox 360)

Wednesday, August 14th                             NA NBA 2k13 (Xbox 360)

Thursday, August 15th                                   EU Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (Xbox 360)

Friday, August 16th                                         NA FIFA Soccer 13 (Xbox 360)

Monday, August 19th                                    NA Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (PlayStation 3)

Tuesday, August 20th                                    NA Gears of War: Judgment (Xbox 360)

Wednesday, August 21st                              EU Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (PlayStation 3)

Thursday, August 22nd                                  NA DOTA 2 (PC)

Friday, August 23rd                                         EU DOTA 2 (PC)

Monday, September 9th                                NA Madden NFL 25 (Xbox 360)

Do all Online Tournaments award the same number of MLG Pro Points?

No, all Online Tournaments do not award the same number of Pro Points. The tournaments will be classified as either 250 Series, 2000 Series, or 5000 Series. The 250 Series Tournaments offer the lowest amount of MLG Pro Points to the fewest number of players and 5000 Series Tournaments offer the highest amount of MLG Pro Points to the greatest number of players.

When can I start earning MLG Pro Points?

You can start working toward earning MLG Pro Points by competing in Ladder Matches on any of the aforementioned Arenas.    If you can get your Teams ranked high enough on the Ladders, you’ll earn MLG Pro Points when Ladder Rankings are pulled based on the schedule above.   You can also earn MLG

How will it be determined if I have earned enough MLG Pro Points to receive MLG Pro Status?

All players who have earned MLG Pro Points will be awarded a status level of Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, or Pro when new MLG Status Rankings are released every two weeks.  Players will be divided among these status levels as follows:

Pro = Top 2%, not to exceed 100 Players

Diamond = 3%-20%, including if necessary Players 101-X within Top 2%

Platinum = 21%-40%

Gold = 41%-60%

Silver = 61%-80%

Bronze = 81%-100%

Will any of this year’s Pro Circuit events count toward the MLG Pro Points Rankings?

Yes, the results of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 event at the MLG Spring Championship in Anaheim, CA will contribute to the MLG Status Rankings for both the NA & EU Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Xbox 360 Arenas.  Also, MLG Status Rankings will be impacted if an Arena’s title is featured at the next Pro Circuit Championship event in Columbus, Ohio from November 22-24.

How can players tell how many MLG Pro Points they have?

MLG Pro Points will be displayed in two locations and updated when new MLG Pro Points Rankings are released every two weeks:

1. Standings page.  This page will show the leaderboard and how many MLG Pro Points each player has, broken down by Arena.

2. Profile page.  Each player who has MLG Pro Points will have a box on their profile that shows the amount of MLG Pro Points they have for each Arena and their MLG Status level.

Are there any other details to note about Pro Points?

1. One month of inactivity will remove a Player from the MLG Pro Points Rankings, but they’ll keep their MLG Pro Points in case they become active again.

2. MLG Pro Points will degrade over time.  Once MLG Pro Points are older than three months they will count for 75% of their original value, 50% for MLG Pro Points that are older than six months, 25% for MLG Pro Points that are older than nine months, and 0% for MLG Pro Points that are older than twelve months.  The only exception to this rule is MLG Pro Points earned at Pro Circuit Championships, which will retain their original value until the conclusion of the following Pro Circuit Championship.

3. Players will only receive MLG Pro Points for their Team’s Ladder Ranking if they played and won at least one Match during the two-week period.
