Wii U players who are itching for a new military shooter will be happy to hear that Call of Duty: Ghosts is Wii U-bound.
Activision has revealed a number of new games which are coming to the Wii U in the coming months and Call of Duty fans will be delighted to know that the series’ newest entry is on that list.

While more casual Wii U gamers will be content with the likes of Angry Birds Trilogy (August 13), Angry Birds Star Wars (October 29), and Skylanders SWAP Force (October 13), Wii U shooter fans will want to mark November 5 on their calendars since that is when Call of Duty: Ghosts officially sneaks its way onto Nintendo’s newest console.
While the Wii U probably isn’t the first choice amongst preferred consoles for Call of Duty fans, many players actually enjoyed being able to play Black Ops II off-screen using the Wii U’s GamePad and similar functionality is undoubtedly in the works for the Wii U port of Ghosts.
Since Activision is also pairing with big-time PC developer Blizzard in order to bring Diablo III to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, a Wii U port of the popular demonic threequel isn’t totally out of the realm of possibility either; but if such a thing is indeed in the works, the announcement will most likely come from Blizzard themselves.
