More light has been shed on some of the many elements within GTA V including hunting, pet customization, and having that unique sort of criminal swagger.
A dearth of new info on Rockstar’s upcoming Grand Theft Auto V has been revealed courtesy of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu.
According to Famitsu, the game will feature more than 15 different kinds of animals, many of which can be hunted in the game’s wilderness regions. Protagonist Franklin will have his own pet dog named Chop and players will be able to customize Chop’s accessories such as his collar and will even be able to buy other pets as well. Players are encouraged to take care of their pets though as they can lose them if they are negligent.
Rockstar is aiming to make GTA V the most realistic Grand Theft Auto game to date, even going so far as to give Franklin, Michael, and Trevor distinctive walking styles and other animations. One mission will have Trevor and Michael performing an underwater infiltration and odds are good that the two will even have unique *swimming* animations to help keep the realism in place.
Lastly, a release date of October 10, 2013 has been confirmed for GTA V in Japan for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
