Germany will be getting a taste of France this year at the annual video game conference.
Dr. Maximilian Schenk, Managing Director of the BIU, Association of Interactive Entertainment Software e.V., said “2013 is going to be one of the strongest year for the Gamescom, both from the point of view of the consumers and of the games industry. It will be particularly characterised by a strong ‘next gen’ and a very confident industry. Hence, it is correct to say that Germany and France are demonstrating their solidarity as strong European markets and locations.”
“The gamescom 2013 provides important economic impulses for Europe and beyond,” said Nicolas Gaume, President of the SNJV. “We are thus especially pleased to be able to present ourselves as a strong, innovative partner at the biggest platform in the world. You are heartily invited to contact us and our exhibitors in the business area to get to know the French games market in detail.”
