2K Games has released a new trailer and DLC details for their upcoming alien shooter The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.
Even though the next generation of gaming is almost upon us, developer 2K Games isn’t about to let gamers forget about their upcoming current-gen title The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. Not only have they released a new trailer for the game, they’ve also detailed some of their DLC plans as well.
The Bureau’s “Battle Focus” trailer unsurprisingly focuses on the game’s Battle Focus feature which actually functions a lot like squad commands from the Mass Effect series. Using Battle Focus, players will be able to issue commands to their NPC allies and queue up skills to help them take down some of The Bureau’s tougher alien foes.
2K also confirmed The Bureau will have both pre-order and post-launch DLC content. They didn’t get into specifics on the post-launch offerings but anyone who pre-orders The Bureau will receive the exclusive “Codebreakers” side-mission in which they must infiltrate a government communications facility. The first post-launch DLC offering (whatever it is) will be an Xbox 360 exclusive.
The Bureau: XCOM Declassified will be available on August 20 in North America and August 23 everywhere else.
