My Hands on with Young Justice:Legacy.

My second day of E3 is going to be much busier than day 1 so time to stop messing around and let’s do this! My day started with a meeting/appointment with Little Orbit to give Young Justice: Legacy a test run. I met up with Doug Panter and it was smooth sailing from there. The demo was the Xbox 360 version but the PS3 version is the same game so no need to worry about that. I was given the keys and my test drive had begun. Anthony Dickson, Little Orbit, was my co-pilot for the test drive, and gave me some pretty good tips and tricks for the game.

The game takes place between the first and second seasons of the show. The game tells the story of what actually happened between the events of the first and second seasons. As fans of the show know, the TV series abruptly came to an end and caught everyone involved, including game developers, by surprise. Doug told me that show creators were going about their business working on the show and then got the news that the show was cancelled. But enough about the show, more on the game.

Legacy plays like a strategy- RPG and at the same time plays like an action beat-em-up type game. Players will be able to form teams of three to go into with. The teams will be made up of the classic Young Justice TV seriescharacters such as Nightwing and Super Boy. The original cast from the show is back to lend their voices to the characters they made so enjoyable. Routine RPG rules apply where you gain experience by beating up on enemies. You replenish your power meter along the journey and while you beat up enemies, your “super meter” goes up. Since each character has their own special moves, the custom factor is rampant.  For example, Super Boy has wide range attacks so he might fit into a team that needs to damage a lot of enemies.
