Yoshi, Mario and Luigi, and Link show why Nintendo still has it when it comes to handhelds.

Nintendo did more that help the Wii U during the first day of E3. They also showed off some upcoming 3DS games that will help keep the Big N in the penthouse when it comes to handheld games. Without further delay, lets talk about the games and they were some pretty good ones! The only issue I had with the demo situation in the Nintendo booth was that other than a few booth entertainers walking around with the game strapped to them, you had to wait in line for quite a while to get to the spinning wheel/prize wheel to play the games.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is the sequel to A Link To The Past and takes place in a same area as ALTTP. While playing the demo it was very easy to get to the east part of the map where the dungeon was located. The game looks pretty good in 3D and the controls were pretty easy to learn and master. Link has the ability to become a wall drawing and can slip between windows with bars in them and this ability can add so much to game play and puzzles.

Sword play is pretty much the same as it has been in previous Zelda games. The difference is the beam attack when you have full health. It appear to differ from the SNES beam attack but not by much though. The game genuinely feels like a direct Link To The Past sequel and personally, I can’t wait for the game because Link To The Past is my favorite Zelda game.
