At this year's E3 conference Ubisoft managed to cover more than a few bases with all of their E3 announcements.
Ubisoft took to the stage at this year’s E3 conference armed with some exciting new announcements. Check them out below if you missed them the first time around.
The Ubisoft conference kicked off with an exciting display of the upcoming Rocksmith 2014 as well as a thrilling new open world racing title called The Crew. The Crew will utilize dynamic and seamless online features; allowing players to explore and race around the entirety of the United States either solo or in a “crew” (get it?) of up to four people. A variety of different challenges await players in this online racing world and the ones on display didn’t fail to garner excitement.
The Watch Dogs trailer that was leaked earlier today was shown next followed by yet another musically-themed announcement with Just Dance 2014. Ubisoft then took the time to appeal to the kid in all of us with the upcoming cartoon tv series/interactive game Rabbids Invasion that will allow children and parents to directly influence the outcome of Rabbids cartoon episodes with a series of fun mini-games.
Once the kid’s stuff was done, Ubisoft dove right back into the mature scene with a brand new Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag trailer and fans of the developer’s Trials Evolution series will be happy to hear that not one but two new Trials games; Trials Fusion (next-gen) and Trials Frontier (mobile) are on the way. Lastly Ubisoft gave viewers a sneak peek of their upcoming MMO shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division with a harrowing cinematic introduction followed by a brief gameplay teaser.
The Division looks to combine a post-apocalyptic setting with open-world, cooperative, and competitive elements that will span the entirety of a virtual United States. Further details were scarce but I’m sure Ubisoft will open up more about The Division in the coming days.
