Nathan Hermanson has been gaming and writing since he was a wee child. For some reason, he always felt the two events were mutually exclusive. Writing was writing and gaming was gaming. When it came time to choose a career, he floundered around before realizing that his two passions could actually be combined. Since then, he has worked on multiple websites, both as a freelance writer and as Editor-in-Chief. Nathan loves point and click adventure games and games that take risks.

Yeah. He's one of those guys.

After the backlash from Microsoft's used game policy with the Xbox One, rumors are hinting that Sony's PS4 may not be far behind.

Sony may not have listened to the defeaning outcry against Microsoft's used game policies as GameTrailer's Geoff Keighley reports that Sony is looking for a DRM solution to the used game issue.

It was reported during the latest episode of the gaming "talk show" Bonus Round, where industry professionals discuss certain topics. Keighley thinks Sony might have to enforce some DRM, thanks to publishers.

"The console companies are becoming the bad guys," said Keighley. "And, you know, Microsoft is getting beaten up a lot on it. Sony, I think, has been seen as this kind of white knight so far that's not going to restrict used games. Based on some of the things I'm hearing, I don't think that's entirely true, because I can't see publishers allowing one system to do one thing and one do another."

A large movement has already hit Twitter demanding that Sony abandon any thoughts of the rumored used game DRM. The thought behind the movement is that if enough users tweet at Sony officials (who are usually active on social media) then maybe Sony will see the issue behind DRM.

Any developments in this story will be followed and if you want to join the movement, tweet with the hashtag #PS4NoDRM.
