Peter Molyneux's latest Android and iPhone gaming experiment has come to an end as someone has made it to the center of his Curiosity cube.
Today, May 26th, a gamer reached the center of that cube. And it may have been the most fulfilling thing Molyneux has delivered in a while.
Bryan Henderson, from Edinburgh, Scotland, was the lucky gamer who chipped into the final layer, where he found a video waiting for him. Luckily for us, he decided to share it with the world.
The video explains that Henderson has gained the ability to play God over all players of Molyneux's next game, Godus. Henderson will be able to "intrinsically decide on the rules that the game is played on." On top of that, Henderson's new role might even become a decent job.
"You will share in the success of the product," Molyneux said. "Every time people spend money on Godus, you will get a small piece of that pie."
Molyneux promised that the center of the cube would hold something that could possibly change someone's life. A possible source of income dependent on the success of a game? That could be huge for some people. On top of that, he IS the God of Molyneux's new game? That's actually not bad.
Henderson better not let it get to his head or we might be facing a vengeful God when we log into Godus in the future.
