Nathan Hermanson has been gaming and writing since he was a wee child. For some reason, he always felt the two events were mutually exclusive. Writing was writing and gaming was gaming. When it came time to choose a career, he floundered around before realizing that his two passions could actually be combined. Since then, he has worked on multiple websites, both as a freelance writer and as Editor-in-Chief. Nathan loves point and click adventure games and games that take risks.

Yeah. He's one of those guys.

Bungie's "shared world" shooter gets a new live action and CG trailer that points to E3 for the first look at gameplay.

Bungie's highly anticipated "shared world" shooter has had a lot of mystery swirling around it. When it was revealed, little else was shown besides a few proof of concept clips and a dizzying number of concept art shots. Bungie has been working on the title since leaving their Microsoft exclusive contract and the time has come to show the world some actual gameplay.

In a new trailer that mashes together live action and CGI, Bungie has revealed when gamers can expect to see some of that gameplay. With Breaking Bad actor Giancarlo Esposito narrating a portion of Rudyard Kipling's "The Law of the Jungle", Bungie has shown that they will spare no expense to showcase their game.

Jon Favreau (Cowboys and Aliens) directed the trailer that not only showcases Mr. Esposito talents, but also displays a number of Destiny soldiers in full combat.

At the end of the trailer, in a somewhat intriguing twist, the Destiny gameplay reveal will take place during Sony's E3 press conference.

Regardless, Bungie, a company who had spent most of its life supporting Microsoft, is ready to put their new title into the spotlight for all to see.
