New games like Asphalt 7 will take advantage of the portable gaming device.
Gameloft is one of the leading mobile game publishers in the world. The company develops games for a wide range of consumers across the full array of smartphone and tablet devices. The publisher has embraced the Android platform with new games like Iron Man 3, Epic and Asphalt 7: Heat. Baudouin Corman, vice president of publishing for the Americas, said Gameloft is always excited to see chipset makers like NVIDIA doing their best to improve the gaming experience on mobile devices.
“We look at Shield as another platform that can attract hardcore gamers to mobile,” said Corman. “Any features that allow users easier access to the most advanced games is great for our players, and for the larger gaming community.”
Gameloft has a large library of game titles, including brand new games like Wild Blood that utilize Unreal Engine 3 technology. That action game takes an interesting twist on the King Arthur legend by unleashing demons into the mythology.
Corman believes Project SHIELD will address an interesting niche in gaming. A much broader consumer base will be able to experience Tegra technology across smartphones and tablets.
