High Moon Studios is readying its take on the merc with the mouth.
Activision and developer High Moon Studios are preparing Marvel comic fans for the June 25 launch of the first stand-alone Deadpool game. Nolan North, who’s best known as Nathan Drake from the Uncharted games, will bring this quick-witted character to life in the third-person perspective action game. Deadpool, himself, talks about the new game in the exclusive video interview below. And then check out the incentives retailers are offering to buy this Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 game at their store.
Best Buy is offering gamers a $5 voucher for any Marvel comic book, including Uncanny X-Force and Daniel Way’s Deadpool run. For Canadians, the retailer will offer a Deadpool poster for everyone who pre-orders the game from the super hero’s home country.
Those who buy the game on Steam and GameStop PC Download will get The Merc with a Map Pack DLC. Featuring two new levels – GRT Plaza and Inside the Tower – for Deadpool Challenge Mode and Infinite Mode, as well as two new costumes, the D-Pooly and Uncanny X-Force suits (only available in Infinite Mode). They’ll also receive Deadpool digital wallpaper.
