The live telecast will feature host Samuel L. Jackson and Hollywood talent like Snoop Dogg, Zachary Levi, Neil Patrick Harris and Jack Black.

VGA TEN will also feature highly anticipated world premieres from Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 (Konami), BioShock Infinite (2K Games), Tomb Raider (Square Enix), Assassin’s Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington (Ubisoft), Halo 4: Spartan Ops (Microsoft Studios) and more.

Previously announced talent includes host Samuel L. Jackson and musical performances by Linkin Park and Tenacious D.  Game exclusives previously announced include Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us, Epic Games’ Gears of War: Judgment and Obsidian Entertainment’s South Park: The Stick of Truth.

Spike TV and Microsoft have also teamed up to broadcast the 2012 Video Game Awards to Xbox LIVE users in the United States and additional countries this December. Airing alongside the live broadcast, the VGAs will showcase groundbreaking interactivity that lets users “play” the show as it happens live through the U.S. Xbox LIVE stream. The Xbox LIVE audience will see responses to poll questions being tabulated in real time on screen and users with Xbox Smartglass will get a unique second-screen experience that updates live alongside the show content.
