The big next generation reveal for Microsoft showcased some cool new media features, but it took 30 minutes for the gaming giant to reveal any games.
First up was a major partnership with EA, that promised the dedicated support and publication of their major sports series for the XBOX One. The next titles in the FIFA, Madden, NBA, and UFC series will all feature some sort of "exclusive" features on Microsoft's new console. The one example showcased by EA was the popular "Ultimate Team" mode within FIFA 14.
After that, Microsoft announced their first launch title with Forza Motorsport 5. The title looks like common racing fare and should definitely interest Forza racing fans.
They went on to announce a new title from the developers of the wildly successful Alan Wake, Remedy Entertainment, with Quantum Break. Little of the game was shown, with a live action sequence leading into what looked like a pre-rendered sequence. The game on the whole looks like an amalgamation of the Sony exclusive Beyond: Two Souls with the mind-bending storytelling of Inception. That is pure speculation though, since very little was shown.
