Want to know more about Remember Me? Find out more in our preview!
Neo-Paris is more than a flashy name for a city 70 years into the future. It is a fully realized and vibrant spectacle full of people, danger, and mystery. The shops display digital information on the windows that add a futuristic feel to the game without being to blunt and obvious. In Neo-Paris Robots are common place and the architecture is beautiful. Remember Me knows this and provides a beautiful establishing shot every time Nilin enters a new area. The city is advanced, realistic, and it invites you to play.
Neo-Paris is beautiful.
Nilin uses the city’s architecture to her advantage. When she is not running away from mutants, Nilin is using the city to escape her enemies. Nilin is able maneuver around the city by climbing and jumping in certain areas. While this is nothing new it does allow you to gain a up close view at how beautiful the series. Nilin seems a little stiff when climbing up walls or jumping across roof tops. This is a early build so this could be fixed once the game is released in June.
Neo-Paris is a joy to experience.
The combo mechanics in Remember Me is a new and unique fixture that players will either fall in love with or hate. You will be able to create and customize your own combos that Nilin will use in combat. This feature is called the Combo Lab. You will use Pressens to build various types of combos. This mechanic is a fun distraction and a great way to edit combat on the fly. It still remains to be seen if players will truly enjoy this feature or will they create one combo and stick with it throughout the game.
Nilin will need all the combos she has to take down her enemies.
