The director of Contraband and 2 Guns will work with the game developer on a new series based on player experiences.

On June 4th, CCP will launch EVE Online: Odyssey, the 19th free expansion for EVE Online. The launch ofOdyssey comes as CCP celebrates the game’s tenth consecutive year of player growth, having passed the 500,000 worldwide subscriber mark in March. CCP recently announced that DUST 514 will launch on May 14th. The creative team working with Kormákur has years of experience. His main partners on this project are producer Magnus V. Sigurdsson with writers Ólafur Egilsson and Sigurjón Kjartansson. Sigurdsson and Kjartansson have played a leading role in the Icelandic TV industry for many years, creating and producing over 400 hours of television. One of their drama series, Réttur (2009), has been picked up by Howard Gordon (24) and Alex Cary (Homeland) for US remake.
