Jack Swagger w/ Zeb Colter vs. Alberto Del Rio (c) w/ Ricardo Rodriguez
The video cut into Swagger’s entrance. Colter takes the mic to gain some cheap heel heat before the match begins. Alberto then makes his entrance and the match begins.
The stage is set for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The match begins with back and forth between the two superstars. Del Rio take control early and aggressively attacks Swagger. Soon Swagger gains control and hits Del Rio with a Swagger Bomb for a two count. Del Rio regains control and hits Swagger with a low superkick straight to the face. He covers him and it is only good for two.
Even this kick was not enough to stop Swagger.
Swagger then takes control of the match and focuses on the ankle of Del Rio. He attempts the Patriot Lock. Del Rio counters and sends him into the corner. Swagger then counters and attempts another Swagger Bomb but Del Rio counters and hits 9 forearm shots to the back of Swagger and ends it with a Backstabber for two. Soon after, Swagger hits the Gutwrench Powerbomb and only gains a two count.
Swagger then attempts the Patriot Lock. Del Rio counters into the Destiny Armbreaker and Swagger counters back into the Patriot Lock. Del Rio reaches the ropes. Del Rio soon gets the better of Swagger and pins him. Colter then reaches in and places Swagger’s foot on the ropes for a two count. Del Rio then leaves the ring to take out Colter, but Swagger takes him out first. Swagger throws him back in the ring and Del Rio catches him with the Destiny Armbreaker and he taps out!
Del Rio Wins!
Del Rio celebrates in the ring and no sign of Dolph Ziggler. Maybe he will cash in his contract on Monday Night Raw.
A very special welcome is extended to the National Guard soldiers in attendance.
A hype video is shown for Undertaker vs. CM Punk. Living Color is shown on stage and they begin to play “Cult of Personality” as CM Punk makes his way to the ring.
