Survival is the name of the game!
It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually, it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time we're looking at Mayday: The Survival Island on Steam.
You crash land on an island where you need to survive. If you ever want to get off that island, you'll have to think quick on your feet and build things for survival. You'll have to craft like you've never crafted before. You'll have to everything around to help you survive. Cut down trees for wood. Craft traps to catch animals to eat. Build a fire to cook food. You'll also have to deal with enemy animals and monsters so be prepared. An interesting idea is that you need to build a raft and bring enough food to survive the trip. Don't make enough and you can't go. If you do make it to an island, you can travel back to it free of charge.
Survival games are all the rage right now and Mayday does a good job in making it feel unique and different from other games in the field.
