Let's go to the mall!
It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually, it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time we're looking at Dreamcore on Steam.
There are multiple locations you can play in Dreamcore but for the video I decided to check out the new location, the Dead Mall, and the Dreampools. The Dead Mall is the newest location and doesn't have an objective. You can explore as much as you'd like or go right to the exit. I live in New Jersey, so I know a thing or two about malls. I have to say that the Dead Mall really feels like a mall that time has passed by. I have been to plenty of malls in the area that feel just like it. I really like the way you can explore and see what the area has to offer. The arcade and the movie theater were spots that were pretty cool to me.
As for the Dreampools location, it was an interesting bathhouse/waterpark location. It reminded me a lot of the Backrooms-type games where you have freedom to go pretty much anywhere you want. It was cool to see all kinds of different waterslides/pools in this location. I really want to go to a place like this and go down all the different slides. I have been to places like this and have to say, it really felt like a waterpark. I was expecting something to jump out and scare the hell out of me.
Dreamcore is an interesting game and gives you enough freedom to play the game your way. I'd like to thank the devs for a review code.Make sure you check out the hands-on video below.
