Birds of a Feather!
It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually, it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time we're looking at The Day I Became a Bird on The Nintendo Switch 2. You can tell it's me becoming the bird because of the Mets hat!
The Day I Became a Bird is about a young boy named Frank, living his life. He goes to school, plays with his dog, and goes to the park. Along the way, things get complicated as he falls in love with the new girl, Sylvia. We find out that Sylvia likes birds and Frank does everything he can to use that information to get Sylvia to notice him. He goes as far as becoming a bird for her by making and wearing a bird costume. Is love in the air for our young friend?
Along the way, you'll be able to collect feathers hidden in each location. There are all kinds of different ways to get feathers. They could be out in a line, or you might have to do something to get them. You might have to shake a tree, open a drawer, or play hopscotch. There are locations that have you go from point B and along the way, you have to go through rings. Pass through a certain number of rings and you'll clear the area.
The Day I Became a Bird is a charming story about young life and does a great job showing the day-to-day life of elementary school kids. There are puzzles at the end of a section and they do a nice job telling a little bit more of the story; sort of giving more background. I really like the way Frank looks in his bird suit. If you're looking for a wholesome time, check this out. I'd like to thank the devs for a review code.
