What's your next plan of attack?

It's that time again for a new episode of Chichuki Plays, the show where I go hands-on with upcoming games and show them off. Usually, it's about an hour or so but I don't want to spoil too much of the game for you. This time we're looking at RTS Hero on Steam. This game comes from a solo developer and that's pretty impressive in my opinion.

RTS Hero is an interesting take on the real time strategy genre. You have quite a few different classes of characters you can choose from. It would have been nice to be able to play this game with a controller but I understand why you have to use a mouse/keyboard. I'm not the biggest fan of RTS games or mouse/keyboard games but I will give them a chance.

For the video, I picked Lightbringer for my playable character. It said in the description that this character was one of the easier ones to use. You have to build up your forces to take on the vile units. You do this by buying buildings and putting them in advantageous locations. You have areas that you can build and by the looks of it, you can only have two buildings in each of those locations. You have to collect people to help build up your location as well. You will need to save up money so you can recruit more people for the town. The more townsfolk you have, the more things you can have built. Another reason to have more townsfolk is so you can attack monsters/enemies when they show up. You have to train them up so make sure you have fighters with a wide array of moves/attacks.

Your playable character can level up as well and learn new skills. You'll also have to have towers that can attack on their own as well as healing locations/towers to heal HP. You'll also need said healing towers to revive you when you perish in battle. The enemy forces are tough so you will die. You can also have healing spells that activate by pushing "Q." I was trying to use it but I must have been doing something wrong because the "Q" button was only rotating the camera for me. I also couldn't figure out how to use magic spells/attacks either.
