How do you outdo Pong? Find out in Qomp 2 on Chichuki Views!

Welcome to another episode of Chichuki Views. This time around, we're checking out Qomp 2 on the Nintendo Switch. I was lucky enough to spend some time with Qomp 2 at PAX East this year as well as check out the game at home. Qomp 2 is the "sequel" to Pong when the Pong ball breaks away from the Pong paddles. You don't need the paddles where we're going. You don't have many control options and you don't need them. You have the ability to change direction and charge/slow down your ball; that's about it. I feel that Qomp 2 is challenging but it's never hard enough to be unfair.

You can make your way through each level but what kind of player would you be if you didn't go for the extra hidden token. In the video I call them tear drop or oil drop but realize now that token would have been much better. Anyway, there is one to collect in each level and they will test your skills as a gamer. You might have to play the level again in reverse to get to the token or find another key to unlock the door the token is locked behind. There are boss fights as well in Qomp 2 and they're as challenging as the main game. I recommend that you play the boss fights for yourself to see how interesting they are. You can also modify your experience in options. To make things easier, you can give the ball a trail to see where it goes and line up your shot. You can also modify the screen to have a fisheye lens look to it.

Qomp 2 is an interesting take on the Pong franchise. I had a great time playing it and like I said earlier, it's hard but fair and you will want to check it out.
