Boom-Shakalaka, sorry wrong Jam!

Today, High Horse Entertainment is excited to simultaneously launch the frantic multiplayer action of Disc Jam on Nintendo Switch, and roll out their biggest update ever across all the game’s platforms. Not only is it easier than ever to jump into a match - whether online or solo, on the go or at home - but there are more ways to play Disc Jam than ever before, thanks to new modes, a new character, and a series of community-focused changes.

To start, the Disc Jam community just got a whole lot bigger. Building upon the game’s existing cross-platform framework, PC and Nintendo Switch owners can finally duke it out for bragging rights in the arena. Coupled with hosted private matches on dedicated servers, this highlights High Horse Entertainment’s drive to provide gamers with the most stable online experience possible. Even locally, Nintendo Switch owners can dive into seamless local wireless play between up to 4 consoles, further building on Disc Jam’s multiplayer strengths.

Multiplayer stability would be nothing without new ways to play and Disc Jam’s biggest update yet has that in spades. Ranked Leagues offer up a haven for Disc Jam’s competitive scene, pitting players against the best of the best as they climb the ranks of the Universal Federation of Disc, unlocking exclusive cosmetic items each season. For gamers who prefer a solo experience, Ghost Arcade takes the intensity of Ranked Leagues offline, as players compete and rank up against a gauntlet of players downloaded from the leaderboards and digitally recreated as AI opponents. Reach the Elite tier in Ranked Leagues and you just may become the bot to beat in Ghost Arcade!

With more ways for players to challenge other Disc Jam competitors, it only makes sense to continue expanding the game’s roster of jammers. Meet Lannie, a multi-talented Brazilian athlete who strikes the perfect balance between power and agility. If you’re a fan of serving up blazing fast discs while still sliding around the arena with the best of them, she’s for you.

From 60fps action on Nintendo Switch at 1080p while docked and 720p undocked, to an arena-full of community-requested quality of life fixes, this is only the beginning for High Horse’s commitment to Disc Jam’s continued growth across platforms. Following its biggest update ever, players can expect the content to keep flying in, whether it’s new arenas, modes and characters, or regular surprises for Ranked League competitors!
