With World War Z gaining buzz after the Super Bowl commercial, fans will be able to see Brad Pitt on Blu-ray starring in Killing Them Softly.

Brad Pitt wasn’t able to attract much attention on the big screen in this crime story, but audiences will be able to check out this darker side of the actor at home. Anchor Bay Entertainment and The Weinstein Company will release Killing Them Softly on DVD and Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack March 26, 2013. The film was written and directed by Andrew Dominik (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford). Killing Them Softly’s suggested retail price is $40 for the BD+DVD+DC Combo Pack and $30 for the DVD.

Todd McCarthy of The Hollywood Reporter called Killing Them Softly, "A juicy, bloody, grimy crime drama that satisfies!" Rolling Stone film critic, Peter Travers wrote, "The acting is aces, especially Pitt mixing it up with the superb James Gandolfini...They make this movie a potently nasty provocation." In his review for The Telegraph, Tim Robey called the film, “An electrifying thriller!”

Brad Pitt delivers an explosive performance as Jackie Cogan, an enforcer for the Mob in Andrew Dominik’s gritty yet stylish crime thriller Killing Them Softly. Cogan must restore order in the criminal economy after a Mob protected card game is heisted by a group of inexperienced crooks. Brad Pitt stars along with Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini, Ray Liotta, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, Vincent Curatola, Max Casella, Trevor Long, Slaine and Sam Shepard.

The Killing Them Softly Blu-ray + DVD + DC Combo Pack special features include Deleted Scenes and The Making of Killing Them Softly.
