The upcoming FitStar: Tony Gonzalez iPad app will help gamers stay in shape.

FitStar Labs is developing a video-based fitness app for the iPad featuring future National Football League (NFL) Hall-of-Famer, Tony Gonzalez. An interactive and adaptive workout system delivered in HD to an iPad or connected TV, FitStar: Tony Gonzalez will act as a personal trainer and introduce an adaptive fitness program that allows users to progress at their own rate, based on gauged abilities and tracked accomplishments.

With one of the most prolific careers in the history of professional football, NFL veteran Tony Gonzalez is a dynamic, one-of-a-kind athlete whose record-breaking career has solidified his place in NFL history. Tony exemplifies what it means to be equal parts sports legend and lifestyle icon through his standing commitment to health and wellness. “I’m extremely proud to be working with such an awesome group of folks who are passionate about improving the health of individuals with engaging and entertaining apps,” said Gonzalez. “FitStar truly is a dynamic, immersive and inspirational way to help people reach their health and fitness goals. I’m really excited about the promise FitStar: Tony Gonzalez holds in making a positive impact on the wellness of the country as a whole.”

“To have Tony on board as our first FitStar trainer with his unparalleled experience and knowledge of maintaining a healthy lifestyle integrated into the FitStar app is huge,” said Mike Maser, CEO, FitStar. “An NFL legend and overall health and fitness guru, Tony has deep expertise in training regimens, nutrition, and all-around fitness techniques, all of which he brings to our platform.”
