Ubisoft has brought out the details on the Collector’s Edition for the upcoming Splinter Cell Blacklist game for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The Paladin Multi-Mission Aircraft Edition will set you back 170 bucks and will only be available in North and Latin America. It will be available August 20th. This is an example of what a collector’s edition should have included in it.
Not only do you get a copy of the game, you get a copy of the Splinter Cell Echoes graphic novel, poster, the Billionare’s Yacht multiplayer map, and the Upper Echelon pack that has multiplayer maps and in-game items. There is one other item that comes with the Collector’s edition. A remote controlled airplane resembling the Paladin. As Ubisoft said “custom three-channel, dual-motor plane modeled after the in-game mobile headquarters.” The plane flies and it’s great to see companies putting this type of effort into a collector set.
