Fans of immersive massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) MapleStory are in for a treat as Nexon America revealed MapleStory X Re:ZERO, an all-new collaboration with the 2016 light novel anime series “Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World.” Beginning today through June 7 players will serve Emilia, the heroine of Re:ZERO who is summoned to Maple World, and collect an assortment of rewards in the process.
“Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World” is the story of Subaru Natsuki, who finds himself in a crisis as he is pulled into another world where he receives assistance from Emilia. As payment, he kindly becomes a butler and performs several tasks that Emilia asks of him. MapleStory X Re:ZERO gives players daily quests inspired by the popular anime to help Emilia understand Maple World while earning gift boxes and new player titles.

Return by Death: Just like Subaru’s notable power in the anime, players who make a wrong choice in Emilia’s daily quests will die and have to start over from Day 1. Any Mapler who successfully completes all the daily quests can restart Emilia’s quests for additional gift boxes.
“Re:Boot” World Bonuses: The MapleStory X Re:ZERO crossover is also the best time to create a new character in Reboot world, a world introduced in the 2015 Reboot update that brings MapleStory back to its roots as a hardcore RPG with stronger enemies and grander rewards. Players who create a new character in Reboot world will be awarded with an exclusive totem themed after Emilia’s Insignia, millions of mesos and a number of useful items upon reaching specific levels.
