Nintendo will be hosting several events during this years Sundance Film Festival. A premiere party for the Wii U video challenge and the Nintendo Lounge are just a few of the events Nintendo has planned. The Wii U video challenge has young video makers show off their films about the Wii U, the next gen. of video gaming. Nintendo will be showing off three premiere game-play videos of the Wii U and New Super Mario Brother U. The Wii U video challenge takes place January 17th. The video challenge had Youtube users create Wii U footage videos showing off the game play aspects of the Gamepad. The winners were broken up into three four person teams and shot new videos of the Wii U and will have them voted on by the audiences in the Nintendo Lounge.

The Nintendo Lounge will also house several games Nintendo is showing off to the masses at Sundance. Just to name a few, New Super Mario Brothers U, Nintendo Land, and ZombiU, are being shown at the Nintendo Lounge. The 3DS isn’t getting left out of all the fun at Sundance. Three games that haven’t hit store shelves yet are going to be shown. Brain Age: Concentration Training, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow-Mirror of Fate will all be playable at the film festival.
