The Fire Emblem 3DS game will have plenty of replay value with downloadable content.

Fire Emblem Awakening, the newest game in the Fire Emblem series, will be launching exclusively on the 3DS February 4th of this year. Downloads and Spotpass/Streetpass keeps the game feeling new and gives it that “fresh” feeling to it. Maps will be buyable from launch and weekly. The first map is free, for a limited time, to show how the weekly service will function. Players who have a broadband internet connection( in this day and age, who doesn’t) will be able to access the content at the Outrealm Gate, but only after the player gets to a certain point in the game.

The game will also feature different downloads through Spotpass and streetpass. Spotpass will have different maps and items available for free. Streetpass will allow players to set up a team, made up of 10 units from a story mode team, and they will randomly appear on the map. The players will be able to buy their services. (Join the team) They will also be able to buy any weapon the team has on them. They can also fight the leader and get their loyalty for free.

The demo of the game will be available from the eShop starting on January 17th. The game will be available on February 4th in physical form as well as digital form from the eShop. The game will cost 40 dollars no matter how you buy it and fans of the series shouldn’t pass this up.
