Revolution will only be on Xbox 360 for an exclusive window before hitting other platforms later on.
Activision is starting 2013 like they ended 2012, with a bang. Activision is bringing DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 to the masses. The first download pack is called Revolution and is exclusive to Xbox 360, to start out anyway. "With Black Ops II, the team set out to challenge assumptions about what fans should expect from Call of Duty, and there's no exception with Revolution," said Mark Lamia, Treyarch's Studio Head. "It starts with the massive amount of content that Revolution offers: four distinct multiplayer maps, an entirely new Zombies map and new Zombies mode, and a new bonus weapon. But quantity is just the start - it's the variety of new game play options in Revolution that sets it apart, making it our most compelling DLC offering to date, and a must-play experience for Call of Duty fans."
The DLC pack will have additional multiplayer maps for fans to enjoy and avoid the environmental hazards. The pack also has a special weapon available to everyone, the “Peacemaker,” complete with its own set of trials to earn extra exp. points. Fans can also expect a new zombie map as well as a new mode called “Turned” where players can play against each other as zombies. Fans can also sign up for the Call of Duty Elite service to track their multiplayer stats and where they can watch Call of Duty Elite TV for tips and tricks. The DLC will be $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points and will eventually come to multiple platforms over the course of the coming year.
